Before the PHD and natural diet, my dogs were prone to:
1. Chronically sore, infected feet from their constant licking of them.
2. Developmental metabolic, bone and joint diseases.
3. Poor appetites, not eating their food, and consequently poor weight gain and body condition.
4. Frequent bouts of diarrhea.
5. Tendency to manifest hypothyroidism.

Since feeding the PHD and natural raw diet, my dogs now:
1. Do not lick their feet.
2. Do not have the infected foot problem.
3. Develop good appetites as puppies. They actually want to eat.
4. Eat very small amounts in comparison to what they had to eat of other commercial diets, and they remain fat. Actually, since being on this food, they are all now on reducing diets in efforts to get the weight I never before could put on them, off them.
5. Have normal thyroid functioning.
6. Have few if any developmental, orthopedic problems.
7. Have excellent muscular development and soundness.

Not only do I recommend PHD and the Volhard all natural diet to all owners of Neapolitan Mastiffs, I recommend it for my veterinary clients' dogs as well.
